This page describes how the GeoTrend AI Suite WordPress plugin
handles your data, and the terms that apply to it. It is an
addendum to our main
Privacy Policy and
Terms of Service,
which continue to apply in full. Where this page is more specific about the
plugin, this page governs.
Privacy — what the plugin sends
The plugin is a client for the GeoTrend AI cloud service.
No AI processing happens on your own server, so the material you
choose to process is transmitted to us in order to produce a result.
When data is sent
- When you press “Connect and Start Free” on the plugin’s Overview
screen, to register your site and open an account for it.
Nothing is sent before you press it — activating the plugin alone
does not contact the service. - Each time you press a generate, translate, analyse or suggest button.
- Periodically, when the plugin refreshes your credit balance and module permissions.
What is sent
- On connection: your site domain, your site address, and the
IP address of the server the request came from. An automatic account and a
site-specific access key are created for that domain. - On each operation: only what you submit for that operation.
Depending on the feature this may include an article topic, title, description,
keywords, tone and requested length; post title, content, excerpt and tags for
translation; a category name and description; a product title and its features;
media title, caption, alternative text and description; an image prompt;
and — if you use image analysis — the image file itself. - The target language of the operation.
- Your credit balance and monthly quota usage, for billing and metering.
What is never sent
- Personal data belonging to your site’s visitors
- Your WordPress user accounts or passwords
- Any content you have not explicitly submitted to an AI operation
Onward processing — Google Gemini
AI operations are performed using Google Gemini models. Content
you submit for an operation is therefore transmitted to Google in order to fulfil
your request. See the

We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not transfer it
to other third parties unless legally required.
Why we record the registration IP
Plugin accounts are identified by domain alone, with no email or payment step, so
that setup stays effortless. To prevent the same party from opening unlimited trial
accounts across throwaway domains — each of which carries a real AI processing cost —
we record the IP address of the registering server and apply daily and weekly limits
on new registrations from the same address.
Retention and your rights
Your account and site record are kept until you delete them. Generated content
remains available in your panel and can be deleted by you. Removing the plugin, or
deleting your site from the panel, stops all data transmission.
You may request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, object to
processing, or request a copy. Contact support@geotrend.app
Terms — using the plugin
The service
GeoTrend AI generates text, images and translations using AI. The WordPress plugin
is a client for that service; because all processing is performed on our servers,
the plugin does not function without an internet connection.
Account and site registration
Pressing “Connect” creates an automatic account for your site’s domain and issues a
site-specific access key. You are responsible for keeping that key confidential and
for operations carried out on your site. Daily and weekly limits apply per server
address for new registrations.
Credits and quota
Newly registered sites receive a limited amount of free trial credit. If you hold a
plan, operations consume your monthly quota first; credits are used only once the
quota is exhausted. Credit charged for a failed operation is refunded.
Credits are provided for use within the service and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Trial credit amounts and promotions may change without prior notice; changes apply
to new registrations and do not reduce credit already granted to your site.
Acceptable use
You may not use the plugin to:
- Generate unlawful, deceptive or hateful content, or content infringing the rights of others
- Reproduce copyrighted works belonging to others without permission
- Disrupt the service through automated or excessive requests
- Share your access key with third parties, or use one key across multiple domains
We may suspend a site or account that breaches these terms.
Generated content
You own the right to use the content you generate. However,
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading; reviewing it
before publication is your responsibility, as is ensuring it complies with the law
and with third-party rights. Because operations run on Google Gemini models,
Google’s terms also apply to the output.
Availability
The plugin and service are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or
error-free operation; interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upstream provider
faults or force majeure. Liability limits set out in our main
Terms of Service
apply.
